Electricity: Usually 110 volts, 60 cycles, but occasionally 150 volts, 50 cycles. Always check before usage. A voltage converter and a two-prong plug adapter are occasionally necessary for U.S. appliances.

So based on the above info, I would get a power converter.
Electrical Specifications in Colombia:
Voltage: 110 and/or 220 Volts
(U.S. voltage is 110-120 volts)
Frequency: 50 Hz
(U.S. frequency is 60 Hz)

Tip: Be sure to buy a separate travel adapter for each appliance you plan to use at the same time.

Columbia has 110V, 60Hz, you should be fine without an adapter, but a travel surge protector would be nice. Have fun on your trip! |
