Electricity: Usually 110 volts, 60 cycles, but occasionally 150 volts, 50 cycles. Always check before usage. A voltage converter and a two-prong plug adapter are occasionally necessary for U.S. appliances.

This is the power requirements of Colombia. Click on the latin travel web link below for info.

So based on the above info, I would get a power converter.

Electrical Specifications in Colombia:

Voltage: 110 and/or 220 Volts
(U.S. voltage is 110-120 volts)

Frequency: 50 Hz
(U.S. frequency is 60 Hz)

This info is from the second web site listed in sources. They have travel adapters for $8.99!

Tip: Be sure to buy a separate travel adapter for each appliance you plan to use at the same time.

Enjoy your traveling! Maybe you can stuff me in your baggage!

Columbia has 110V, 60Hz, you should be fine without an adapter, but a travel surge protector would be nice. Have fun on your trip!
