Ryan C

I am visiting Limon (Costa Rica) for one day. What should I do?

I'm interested in anything, especially if it sounds odd. Despite enjoying it, the last thing I want to be doing is lying on a beach.
Thanks.

I say take a tour to the Cahuita National Park. It is a 242hectare (600 acre) reserve of coral reef off the coast south of Puerto Limon. There is some great snorkeling and there is a land portion with wildlife viewing on the trails.

I suggest going somewhere out of town unless you really want to experience the coruption and drug problems of a port town, built up by the united fruit company and deserted just the same after a large protest led by the afro-caribbean immigrant workers.

Look up Costa Rica history for more info on this!

One day in Limon. Watching your wallet and walking around town are pretty much all you can fit in.
