Intis can not be exchanged for US currency (or any other currency), as mentioned above they are no longer in use and have no real value. They can be sold as collectibles, the coins look to get a few dollars a piece on ebay.

Intis are no longer the currency of Peru. They now have Nuevos Soles. So I suppose they may have antiquarian value at some point.
