El Salvador has not adopted zip codes as of yet. All you need to do use state the street name, the number of the building, the city and the department (In El Salvador they have departments instead of states).

Gosh, I need to copy the address the 1st person gave for zip codes. In the States, we say "El", in Latin America they often say "San" instead. When looking it up, keep this in mind. Also keep in mind, mailing So. of the US boarder is VERY different. It took over 4 months for my sister to get the Mothers day card I sent her, my Mother has yet to recieve her's. DO NOT put anything valuable in your letter. If you need to send something of value, go through a carrier, UPS, something like that. It can also help to send to a business addressf instead of personal address. When I send to Ecuador, I send to my friends business office, so far what I have sent, though it can take a couple of months has arrived. Good Luck |
