I like a man from Ecuador?

I like a guy from Ecuador and I think he might like me to. But I dont want to ask him to go out, because I dont know anything about his culture and dont want to disrespect him in anyway. So does anybody here know anything about this culture especially when it comes to dating.

Dating is dating in any part of the world! Just be honest with him and tell him how you feel and I'm sure everything will be ok. Ecuatorians dont have a specific code when it come to dating, just use the international code of love! Good luck.

It depends on how long he's been in the States (assuming that's where you are), but if he's come recently from Ecuador he's likely to have more "traditional" ideas about men's and women's roles in society. I don't think he would necessarily object to you asking him out, but in my experience Ecuadorian guys like the chase, so you might want to give it a little time and see if he asks you out. If and when you do start dating, you will probably have to be pretty clear about your physical boundaries. I found myself having to say "no" or telling guys to slow down a lot in Ecuador, way more than I ever had to with American guys. Overall, Ecuadorian guys tend to be pretty romantic and will pay a lot of attention to you.

Good luck! Ecuador has an awesome culture.
