In the Pacific there is Nosara or Samara to go to! They are really nice and well-known for surfing. Also, the prices are not that expensive and it is lots of fun! I strongly recommend it!

If you want to surf i would probably go to Malpais, I dont know anything about surfing but i know thats one of the most sought after beaches, plus its a pretty nice place |
