A good school

After traveling through Guatemala, I decide to stay in Antigua to study Spanish .There are many Spanish Schools in Antigua, but after looking at several of them I knew I should study at this school . The teachers are wonderful and the lessons are a perfect balance of vocabulary, grammar and conversation .In just tow weeks I learned a great deal of Spanish After just the first day I found myself having conversations in Spanish , this was a great experience and I am grateful for every thing I have learn here .
There are 40 schools in Antigua but this school is the only one to have 5 stars in www.123teachme.com

There are a lot of spanish schools in Antigua Guatemala. A lot of tourists come here with that purpose and have found Antigua as the perfect spot.
One of the advantages of learning spanish in Guatemala is that we speak one of the most slowest spanish in Latin America and we also pronounce every single letter when we talk. It is also true that we have a great percentage of indigenous people living in Guatemala and they have spanish as their second language (thats why the first that answer said they talk differently).
I dont know how much time you want to be in Guatemala but you can check www.aroundantigua.com and they have a lot of information about spanish schools. A plus in Guatemala is that a lot of students are hired to work in restaurants and bars (to earn a few bucks) and there you can practice your spanish.
Ive heard too that there are programs to spend a week or so with guatemalan families, maybe you have to check that out.
If you have any doubts or questions i will be glad to help you since i live in Guatemala city and I can investigate this schools for you.

In Antigua Guatemala there is a Spanish school almost every block, I don't know which is the best one, but I can assure you that the best way to learn is to speak with all the people that you can. In Guatemala the people is really friendly, and just by been seating in the park you find people to talk about anything, so you practice the language and know more about the country and the culture, just get a dictionary and see it as an adventure and you see that you are going back home speaking Spanish.
