Congrats! And what a beautiful place to do it - I'm sure it will be lovely! Almost all of the resorts do weddings, and this all-inclusive resort offers a "free wedding" that you can upgrade: http://www.occidentalhotels.com/grandpap...

If you want a chapel - this is the place! http://www.greenhotelscr.com/uniquefeatu...

Please read reviews at Tripadvisor.com - there was a scarey one about a ruined wedding at the Hotel Condovac

Some other resorts with wedding services:

lovely beach wedding dresses!
Good luck!

Okay, I have a few suggestions for you but not knowing all of the details I can only guess.

One idyllic place is Manuel Antonio outside of Quepos on the Pacific side. I have heard that there are some hotels that specialize in weddings and help you plan it. I'm sorry, but I don't know the names.

If you want a less touristy place consider hotel las Tortugas up in Playa Grande, close to Playa Tamarindo. This is on the Nicoya peninsula on the pacific coast. There is an airport not too far but less tourists than Manuel Antonio. Hotel Las Tortugas would have space for just about your whole wedding party and it is close enough to the beach that you can hear the waves from your bedroom window. I've stayed there and it was nice, quiet, private, and you can see sea turtles at night.

If accisiblity isn't an object, think about Cahuita on the Caribbean coast. Small town, no paved roads, there are some nice hotels (fancier) on the outskirts of town and reef and beach access. Swiss Chalet hotel hibiscus is on teh edge of the ocean not at the beach but old coral reef. The waves crash and you stand on grass. They only have room for a few people, but the grounds are beautiful.

I hope this helps and congratulations on your upcoming wedding!

I would personally highly recommend Hotel Diria in Tamarindo Beach in Northwestern Costa Rica on the Pacific side.

You can find it on the net quite easily with tons of real good pics!

The Hotel is right on the Beach, is a Five Star Hotel with real inexpensive rates and three huge swimming pools for their guests!

I go there ever time I go to Costa Rica and have never been disappointed.

They include a HUGE Breakfast Buffet in with your room rate and we are talking about a Dozen Long Tables of all sorts of Breakfast foods and goodies! By the time you finish your breakfast there - you will not want to eat anything again until later on in the evening!

Good Luck or - Buena Suerte!

Viva La Pura Vida!

I Agree with marcejc, La Mariposa is breathtaking, albeit not exactly beachfront. I would steer clear of Marriott Los SueƱos. It's a great hotel, but if you are looking for the Costarrican flavor, you will not get it there. It is a hotel surrounded by timeshares that belong to US citizens. Kinda like getting married in Miami. Villa Caletas is also a good hotel. I was in Costa Rica Last year (actually at a friend's house close to the Marriott Los SueƱos) so I've been to all recently. If you go there, do not miss visiting the Manuel Antonio Park, it is breathtaking.

I was just married on Sunday in Dominical, Costa Rica (4 hours south of San Jose). It was amazing. My guest stayed at the Necochea Inn and other places. We hired a driver and private bus for a great price to help get everyone around. Ivonne at the Necochea Inn was great, we had our reception there. Our photographer came in from Quepos, our attorney was a local tico, our baker was from the US but has lived in Costa Rica for years. Once I get my photos back if you would like to see them I can forward some of them to you. Dominical means where the ocean meets the mountains and it makes for a beautiful back drop for anything. We have been to Costa Rica many times and Dominical is the place that I have fallen in love with the most. North C.R. is desert like and not the rain Forest that you would expect, Tamarindo has been nicknamed Tamagringo because all of the Americans that have moved in. I would suggest going somewhere off of the beaten path to really enjoy Costa Rica to its fullest. Good Luck and Congratulations!!!

Check out "La Mariposa" hotel. It is just beautiful. Overlooks the Pacific Ocean and is high on a hill. Make sure November is a good time to travel to Costa Rica. I was there in January and it was perfect!!
