Hi there,
The guy above is right - there is no land transport from Colombia to Panama but you can do all the rest of it by bus. Transportes Ormeño in Lima have a bus service all the way to Bogota in Colombia - you can break up the journey along the way in the north of Peru or in Ecuador as well. Either way, it's a great trip and makes for a great holiday!
Cheers,
Dan |

You could use lonely planet, and chek if there is actualy a bus that goes through the jungle in panama. I heard of people having to island hop cause of lack of good transportation through the southern part of panama. Check lonely planet colombia, for info on their local bus companies and posible routs. Anyways, chek before you start this journey, planes or boats may be a safe choice.Good journeys..... |

ooooooooh honey that will be hard. Before you do it you must be aware that Latin american transportation isn't the best but is reeally fun.
I doubt you'll be able to travel a long way in train, because they aren't many. But either way you'll be OK because they are buses that go everywhere!!!
If you understand spanish I'll try to help you out with the websites. (I'm saying this because possibly most of them will be in spanish) so, just let me know |

hi I'm from Colombia and I'm sorry to tell you that you can´t,, there is not transportation between Colombia and panama, because there is a natural reserve ,, "el tapon del darien" and there is not legal ways, or roads, or trains, but, you can go tho the Pacific's or Atlantic's coasts and take a boat or something like that,,, i think you should try, but if you go, just be sure to know exactly what to do, ,, it´s the best... look for local people their help can be more use full. |
