If you did the "exit thing" through immigration at the airport, the fact that you do not have a stamp will make no difference, in the system they use, you went out of the country. He might forget to stamp your passport, but he will never let you pass out of the country without having cleared you in the system. So, you will have no problem coming back to Peru.

Call the Peruvian embassy. It's their rules - go to the source, not to someone who once saw a llama.

I doubt you'd have any problem. If you left via the airport, then they took the tourist card you filled out when you entered and ran your passport through their computers, creating a record of your exit. If there was any problem with your stay (overstay, loss of tourist card, etc), it would have been dealt with then, on the spot. Their failure to stamp your passport is a meaningless mistake.

When they stamp your passport upon arrival in Lima, they never browse to make sure your entry-exit stamps line up. Nonetheless, if you wanted to make absolutely sure, then do follow the advice of the other answer and contact the embassy. My guess is they'll tell you not to worry about it.

good luck i just had a horrible experience leaving peru and i go there often.. i am more curious on to how it was possible you never got a exit stamp. if you paid your taxes and had your immigration card use that as proof that also has a stamp on it. good luck

There is not your fault if the passport hasn't been stamped. They have a sluggish system in place. They welcome any visitor at anytime, this is the only way they make a living..Ask the travel agencies for clarifications..
