Guatemala is called "the land of eternal spring", and it is true. The temperature is around 80 degrees throughout most of the year. It is colder from Decemmber to February (the coldest is maybe 55 degrees). So, I would advice to bring light clothes, except if you are travelling between December and February when it's slightly colder. March and April are the warmest months (around 85-90 degrees).

In the city the climate is always good.
In the beach it is always very hot no matter what season.
Quetzaltenango is the 2nd most important city and is colder than the rest of the country.

Hope it helps and definitely this country is a "must visit" (I think it was recently ranked no.1 country for tourism by the BBC, but even if not, it definitely ranks high!).

Depends on where you're traveling. In the mtns. it's cooler, need jacket. We're just getting into rain, hot/warm days and cool nights. The beach is always hot.
