Im going to peru do i need any electrical adapters, such as i needed in europe?
the v in Peru is 220 v .
if u r coming from USA for sure, you need the adapted for convert to 220 v and extra plug -rounded or circular like in Europe- 20%f of the hotels in the city Lima included extra converter 110 and 220 v.
But for sure 100% in the country u need adaptador and extraplug circular rounded no flat like in USA for your mobile if is rooming, for your laptop, for your camera digi and camcorder for sure.

Not usually - but you should get one just in case or for 'less expensive' motels; we have never needed an adapter.
If you are coming from the US your equipment *should* be able to handle both 110V and 220V at either 50 Hz or 60 Hz, so don't bother with inverters and such.
Additionally, most tourist hotels have both 110 V and 220 V outlets but even those that don't have the type of plug that will fit either round or flat plugs. Refer to the tables others have listed.

Yes! You should get an adapter kit for every different kind of plug, but please don't listen to those people who said that you don't need an adapter because either you'll start an electrical fire or you'll be really bummed that you can't use your hair drier!

i don't think you have to have them
but if you go to the store they sell the adapters in a kit and you will have all of them in case you need them.

Peru uses a mixture of European and US plug sockets so it's worth carrying a worldwide adaptor just in case. On the first link I've added below, Peru uses mainly types A & C so you should be able to get a pretty good idea. IIf you would rather not carry around a "worldwide" adaptor, it's also easily possible to buy adaptors in any hardware shop in Peru for less than a dollar if you should need one.

Most outlets in Peru are made for European and US plugs. Voltage is 220V. Here is a very useful link for travelers.
