ok so im going to spend my summer in costa rica around early july and i dont know where to stay im plannin on renting a condo for around 1000 USD but i dont know where is the best location i want a place not to far from san jose since that is the airport im arriving at and i dont want the cab to rip me off, but i want a place with casinos nice not extremely crowded beaches with alot of clean hot girls and good boos if there is a city that is far from san jose with what i mentioned above that is easy and cheap to get to i wud like to know about it and do vacation condo prices sky rocket around july time. Additional Details ok i get it san jose is trash ok i want a place with all the above distance isnt an issue ill rent a car or whatever but safety is consider everything mentioned above and include safety and las vegas isnt an option cuz im 18
It's not the most beautiful or most secluded beach in Costa Rica, but it's popular with young people (especially surfers), there's lots of cheap condos you can rent (or even hostels where you can crash for a night on $10), plus plenty of bars and good nightlife where you can meet hot women and drink icy cold $1 beers to your hearts content (the Beatle Bar right on the main drag is always full of loose women and cheap beer, though it's often deserted before 8pm).
You don't even need to rent a car. Buses from the Coca-Cola bus terminal in San Jose go out to Jaco from early morning to early evening and cost just $3-4 each way.

San Jose is in the middle of the country while the beaches are on each side. About a 6 - 10 hour+ trip depending on where you end up. You could consider the airport at Liberia and then go to the beach nearby. The Osa peninsula is nearby also. All the rest would be in San Jose.

San Jose sucks...........as far as I'm concerned it is not a part of Costa Rica. It is full of bandits and prostitutes. I was robbed in my hotel parking lot. I had only be in country 1/2 hour. If your looking for casinos with hot girls with big boobs go to Las Vagas..........you'll be a lot safer......
If your looking for a great country and people who value people stay out of San Jose. Tico's are the best..........
Spent the month of Feb visiting Costa Rica. Its paradise outside of San Jose.
