this wasnt really a war. more like a military clash. It was called the Paquisha War that took place in January-February 1981 over the control of three watchposts that the Ecuadorian Army was setting up in the Comaina valley. The clash ended with a ceasefire, with the three bases destroyed and the Peruvian Army in control of most of the area.
