Is Brazil Now The Best Country For Living?

Not unless you are extremely rich...
Poverty persists in many areas, and only the wealthy can afford a taste of the good life.
Try Australia if you want to be in the best country of living!

Not even close.

Here are the top 5 according to the U.N.

1. Iceland
2. Norway
3. Australia
4. Canada
5. Ireland

EDIT-
Some perspective for the young lady below: I have a relative who just returned home after living many, many years in Brazil. Many in our family, visited with her and gave her a hand with her missionary work. When you visit Brazil a couple of things quickly become apparent:
1- The social inequalities are staggering. We have poor people in North America, but nothing that comes even close in terms of complete destitution. There is much wealth in Brazil, but it is not available to all.
2- Brazilians are very beautiful, friendly, and open people, but they are also unbeileveably nationalistic, to the point of stupidity. In this context it is simply impossible for the country to progress because they are incapable of finding any fault with it.
3- Corruption is pervasive to the point of crippling any project for improving the life of those who need help. No matter what you try to do, someone's paw has to be greased.

Brazil is indeed very beautiful, but if you are not wealthy it is a bit of a s**thole. A beautiful, sunny s**thole.

There is too much poverty and crime in Brazil now, the best country to live in latin america would be Costa Rica, a distant second place might be argentina and Chile but they have other problems now also.
