Well, from the USA point of view America is actually two different continents( North and South) and Central America is part of North America. But unlike the US, (most of) the rest of America sees america as one continent only.....and the North, South and Central are simply three differnt regions and Central America belongs..........well......in Central America.
They also make a distintion between.......Centroamerica and America Central (translated they mean the same, Central America) Centroamerica includes only Honduras, Guatemala, EL Salvador, Costa RIca and Nicaragua that are in the mainland.
THe american islands and panama and belize plus Centralamerica make up America Central. |

No, there is North, Central, and South America. They are all different. Of course, the USA and Canada is the North America, Mexico and other small countries next to it is the Central America, And Brazil and other countries next to it is the South America. |
