no part of central america

Honduras is part of Central America, which is on the continent of America (or is a geographical region of North America; this depends on where you were educated).

Honduras's Caribbean coast identifies more with countries from the Caribbean though, just like Nicaragua's and Costa Rica's Caribbean coast does. On the Caribbean coast of those 3 countries and Belize and Guatemala is where the majority of the black populations in each country lives. If you travel there you will see the majority of people speak English (or a dialect of Creole) and Garifuna (in Honduras, Nicaragua and Guatemala).
