Is La Fortuna, Montezuma & Manuel Antonio doable in 10 days ?

I arrive on Wednesday morning in San Jose and want to take a bus to La Fortuna for 3 days then try to fly to Tambor to get to Montezuma for another 3 days then to Manuel Antonio for another 3 days. Last night will be spent in San Jose which is where we leave from. In your opinion, is this enough time to do all this? We leave the following saturday in the afternoon. All together it is 10 nights & 11 days. Any opinion will be appreciated.

I think your trip is definitely doable. Please remember that Costa Rica is about the size of West Virginia; relatively small. In fact, if road conditions hold, you can catch the sunrise over the Caribbean, have breakfast and a fun morning on the beach. Take off at about 11 am, drive to the other side of the country and be on the Pacific Coast in time to watch the sunset over the Pacific while enjoying a nice dinner. There aren't too many places in the world where you can observe this natural wonder. Good luck on your adventure. And please remember that it's raining a lot this time of year. Bring your rain gear and enjoy our little corner of natural wonders.

marcelita
as I told you, i think it's ok.

Tico Roots.
OK there is a company that takes you by plane pretty cheap to 17 different destinations in CR i know Tambor and San Jose and La Fortuna are some of there destinations. From Tambor its really easy to get to Monte Zuma and from La Fortuna its really easy to get to Monte Verde by land. But to San Jose to Monte Verde to La Fortuna you can fly with this company called http://natureair.com/

Yes, that should not be a problem. as for driving across the country in one day, good luck. On the roads here you're lucky to average 35 per hour.

La Fortuna is fantastic!!!! Montezuma, so-so..... Manuel Antonio is nice... Enjoy!!!!!
