Former Panamanian leader General Manuel Noriega has failed in an attempt to secure an early release from prison in the United States.
At a parole hearing in Miami, where Noriega is serving a 30-year drug trafficking sentence, officials heard arguments for and against his conditional release.
But the petition was turned down apparently after concerns were raised about the security risk his release could pose to the former US president, George Bush. |

I'm attorney.Yes he is getting out of jail soon. Because good behavior during the years he was there. American constitution grant that.
According to Noriega he plans to enjoy retirement in Panama at the side of his grandaughters.
He has a lot of criminal processes in Panama. Actually he has been declare guilty in the mayor part of them.
This situation put on the table the possibility of extradition by Panamanian government and a previous decision by the Secretary of state. |
