I have been to Nicaragua a few times this year, and I just love being there. I love the people, I love the culture and basically everything about it. I have many friends(they are Nicaraguan) who live there and say it's safe, But my question is Is it safe for an American woman to live there? Have you ever lived there? Did you feel safe? In terms of security Nicaragua is safer than other countries in the region. Nevertheless it has a very delicate political situation with a leftist government that is trying to form a socialist regime based in the anti american hate.

move to Esteli i think you will be safe their when i was in Esteli everyone treated me good cause they think i was gonna give them dollars but it was cool i felt like a celebrity. Well Managua is too hot.. and it gets me dizzy cause of all the crazy cars up north Nicaragua is much better to me.

cheers it meaans you could spnd allot of time in a nicaraguan jail and they are no more than dirt holes. Unlike Japanese jails where they still hang people of their country.
