Is argentine/ argentina latino?

I am researching a latino soccer player, and someone suggested Diego Maradona- soccer player, and he was born in argentine. (yes, i am dumb, please help!)

We dont consider us as latinos but yes Diego is our best soccer player in our history but now we have Tevez and Messi. Check them out cause Diego was a great soccer player but now he is in rehab and he is like 45 years old..i think Tevez is better...good luck

Yes he was born in Argentina
. And yes he has been one of the worlds best soccer player ever in Argentina he´s a Legend ( He´s untouchable basically). here´s a link with some details.( In English)..

For starters we do not consider are selves Latinos. He is one of our best though. Along with Hernan Crespo and Lionel Messi.
