Show all answers

Mrs. Obama rules!
No, in Guyana they speak mostly english now together with some indian dialects. The capital is Georgetown. It is located in the north eastern upper corner of South America together with French Guyana and Surinam. Suriman was a dutch colony and French Guyana a French colony but that was years ago. The spanish conquerors never set foot in these three countries as they were quite isolated into the jungle.

No, it is one of four non-spanish speaking countries in South America (Suriname, French Guiana, and Brazil). The language and culture is similar to coutries like Belize and the Caribbean islands.
