Yes you can but you better ship your vehicle around the Darien gap. My dentist friend 'Bajamanpablo' did it in a converted 1947 Jeep tuck in 1970 all the way to Puerto Monet where the Pan American Hwy stops.

You need to go from North America, to Central America, to South America?...Mmm. Quite a trip. I am not so sure. You can do it from South America starting Venezuela toward Chile. Now. you need to find out the Central American part.

Yes you can I have met people who have done it by car others by bicycle. however one section the one between Panama and Colombia also called the Darrien Gap has no road so you have to take a boat to bypass it. You would be amazed how many people are out there crisscrossing the world sometime for years, by whatever means of transportation. Have fun, I am jealous!

yeah, but it can be dangerous it's best to go by plane.
in countries such as colombia it can get very dangerous and the roads through the Andes have no railing and are very thin many people die on those roads every year I want to do that too but from south carolina(where I live) I recommend just taking a plane because you can get lost and people will take advantage of you because you're american (happened to my grandpa in mexico) just be careful if you're driving!
