No the only places you can go to right now without a passport are US territories (ie Puerto Rico, US virgin islands....) In Jan. '07 TSA or whoever is making it so you need a passport to leave or enter this country no matter where you are going or coming from. |

There were a few islands in the Caribbean, like Bermuda, that this was still possible a few years back, but not anymore.
Just think about it: if you are let into, say Brazil with only an ID and birth certificate, how are you going to get back to the US without a passport?
You think those cops from Homeland Security will think it's funny or cute?
Beside you'll never get a boarding pass from any airline if you don't show up to the airport without a passport, no matter how much you try to persuade them. |
