Is pavones costa rica safe for 2 tourists for 2 weeks?
We recently came back from Costa Rica and yes, we felt very safe there. The people were very friendly everywhere. We did not run into any problems.
Just take precautions like you would do anywhere in the world. Use the safe in your hotelroom and if you do not use a safe carry your passports in one of this passpartholders which you can hang around your neck...

I've never been there, but Costa Rica is a very safe country for tourists. I lived there for 3 months and never encountered a problem. I would suggest looking in some guide books. Some things to keep in mind: don't flash around your camera or money, and bring lots of bug spray and sun screen.
Have fun!

Yes, just use common sense as you would anywhere else. Great surfing too!

Pavones is nice and in general Costa Rica is a safe country; as someone advise before... take precautions with your luggage and all personal items. if you have any problems you can always call 911 or your USA embassy After Hours/Emergencies: [506] 2519-2280 or [506] 2519-2279 within Costa Rica the 506 is not needed.
I live in Costa Rica so if you need further assistance just send me an email :)

Yes pavones is rather remote and very safe. I just don't know what you would do there for two weeks. If you surf It does have the legendary break but not all of the time. If you are wanting to get away pavones will do the trick. But yeah super safe.
