Is september a good month to go diving in Honduras?
I can only go on a vacation in September and I really want to go to Honduras for diving. But with the hurricane season I dont know if that would be a great place to go. Any suggestions?
My husband went to Roatan in July - he said the diving was awesome!! There really is not a bad time to take a Roatan, Honduras diving vacation. Even in the rainy season (roughly September to January), water visibility is over 80 feet.

Hurricanes normally are not really that big of a concern for us here because most of them pass to the north without affecting us much. But, the north coast of Honduras and the Bay Islands can be pretty hot and humid in September. Also, the rainy season doesn't really start until Oct. so you don't need to worry about water visibility in Sept.
