Estrato Seis is right, you can cross over from Leticia to Tabitinga. Not sure where you might plan on driving to from there. Driving to Leticia from anywhere in Colombia I believe is impossible and would be stupid due to FARC in the area.
Been there a lot of times but not in the last 3 or 4 years.
You can get to Brazil and Peru by river boats. Also a Peruvian plane with pontoons instead of wheels goes from Santa Rosa, Peru to Iquitos, Peru (one hour flight).. Just catch a boat from Leticia to Santa Rosa (five minute boat ride), Peru. Make sure you check in with DAS and Peruvian Immigrations. The plane ride is about $60US.

There is a bridge at Leticia Colombia. However, Leticia is mostly FARC controlled and it would be unwise, if you are as white as rice, to drive there.. or even be there.. The jungle departments of Colombia are often FARC controlled and you would be unwise to drive there. |
