There is a lot of nightlife in both Guatemala city and Antigua. Guatemala city is a very big city and most of the nightlife is concentrated in "zona viva" which has restaurants, bars and discos. Antigua has a lot of nightlife as well. It has a lot of restaurants and bars. Most of them are full of tourists. Prices are more cheaper in Antigua than in Guatemala city and most of the tourists enjoy the happy hours where each drink is a dollar or less. There is a general curfue in Guatemala at 1am, but in Antigua there are always after parties until dawn. Some websites where you can see the nightlife in Guatemala is www.guate2night.com www.aroundantigua.com www.antiguaguatemalaonline.com

In Guatemala city it would be the la zona viva.... there are other places but not for tourists and you may get shot if you go to them. Also 4 grados norte is a nice place to go at night on the weekends.

Are you kidding? There is tons to do! In Guatemala City, like everyone else has said, you can go to the Zona Viva and you will find tons of restaurants, bars and clubs...there is always something going on. 4 Grados Norte is also a great place to go because there are again, tons of restaurants and bars...I would reccomend going there if you want a more chill night. In Antigua you can go to "La Calle del Arco"...there are tons of places to go there. Also, Wednesday is a huge night in Antigua because it is Ladies Night at a bar called Frida's and a ton of people come in for the night.

depends on the kind of night life you want , Antigua has a pretty active night life scene allot more laid back than the USA or EU But if you catch Race Week you can party 24-7 from dusk to dawn.
