No. They have interrelated issues, differences, similar ethnicity, and so on. Their political climate is really none of "our" business --despite historical manipulations. Let them be.

I think it would be better to leave it to the people of Central America to decide that for themselves. The West (Europe & the US) has become accustomed to dictating what would be best for other countries all over the world without even considering the feelings of the people and countries involved. Before World War I, the West directly controlled about 85% of the surface of the planet. Many of the problems we see in the world today (Afghanistan, Rwanda, Panama, Myanmar, the Middle East, to name but a few) are directly attributable to our policies in those areas. Do you really want to be responsible for creating more of that kind of chaos?
Personally I think there could be various efficiencies of scale, for example, but who the hell am I to tell the Central Americans how they should run their countries?

Being a Honduran I would like to see all 7 Central American countries.

Belize, Guatemala, Cost Rica, Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Panama.

Become one. And I believe things are happening that are moving in that direction like:

Free trade agreements among central American countries.
I would like to see a single currency so that it becomes a more competitive currency in the global market.
But a radical and immediate change would not be successfully because if factors mentioned already like corruption, cultural and historical disagreements etc.

This might word with some countries like Guatemala and El Salvador and maybe Costa Rica. But, there is a huge difference between Costa Rica and Nicaragua and their political and military past. Too, Panama is very different than the more northern CA countries. Additionally, with a long history of corruption, I seriously doubt forming one country will enhance political and economic accountability.

It would be really hard to accomplish...there are thousands of economical, legal and ideologic reasons. I believe the best choice would be that all seven countries could work together to improve the life conditions in their people starting developement proyects together.

Hell no. United States is the United States, Mexico is Mexico, Cuba is Cuba and so on. And no, NO foreighners belong here in the USA unless they are here legally. If they're coming here illegally, then they must have something hide, or else, they'd come here the legal way so we could trust them and welcome them. Point served.
