I am going to Educate you. The FARC is an organization of "terrorists" for want of a better word.
Originally they had a political purpose and at one time did have a large group of supporters. However they lost all that when Uribe came in to power and started focusing on education, and people soon realized that this group was not there for the people but there to make money out of drugs and by stealing everyday peoples property and land.
If you are serious about joining this group, I suggest you re-think your life and your beliefs as most of the current members are now only supporting with them due to the fact that if they do not they have been told their families will be killed or other bad things, does this sound like the type of group you want to support?
I am going to accept your question as genuine and hope that you are simply ignorant about who the FARC really are and what they do/have done, and not that you are actually posting a question like this to be malicious and upset Colombian people.
I suggest you type in to google " farc information" and hopefully read through some of the sites to find out what a vviscousand souless group these terrorists are.
And just for future reference Columbia is the 2 places in the U.S. Colombia is the country in South America |

A rather pathetic question, if I may say so.
You must think FARC is some sort of night club or YMCA.
The FARC are NOT a Marxist group anymore. (They used to be back in the 70s and early 80s) Nowadays, they are mere drug-trafficking terrorists with no 'social objective,' than to feed the money-hungry drug dealers who lead the ‘company.’
It's is a shame that 'foreigners' ignorant to what is REALLY happening, mistake this group as some sort of solution or saviour for Colombia.
