Looking for free Wi-fi at Puntarenas, Costa Rica Port.?

Our cruise ship is docking tomorrow for about 8 hours. Or at least an internet cafe will do if no free wi-fi available..

This is near the Cruise Terminal.

it is kind of difficult to give you a specific address where to go for wifi or internet access.. but dont worry, just walk around and you will find many places.

Just make sure not to bring your laptop too obvious, or it might be stolen. It is not a dangerouse place, but you know, **** hapens

The last time I was in Puntarenas (about a year ago) there was a internet cafe within a hundred yards from where the Cruise Ship docked. However, it was packed, which cruisers scrambling to use it.

If you have a laptop, you will probably get a signal when the boat is dock. Plus almost all the hotels around the dock area have wifi - you will have no problem. If you have to pay, figure about 1-$2 an hour.
