OK. I don't want to rain on your parade but unless you're Panamanians looking to come back you're going to have a difficult time finding work.

Please listen. In order to work in Panama, if you're not Panamanian, you must have a work permit from the Ministry of Labor. Surely you can obtain one but there are very distinctive situations where you can apply for one. For example, if you have been hired by a local corporation where you will represent the 10% of the labor force, then you can apply for a work permit. Also if you get hired as a technician or an expert you can also apply for a work permit, and some other situations you can discuss with a local immigration attorney.

You can also start your own company and you can work for yourself. That way you can get your immigration status settled, and you can also work at your own company.

I as a Panamanian welcome you to Panama. I really hope that you make your new home here, but please try to get all your facts straight to see if Panama can become your new home.

Definitely follow the advise from wcruz, it is wise to have contacts before coming into Panama and do your research, it can be difficult, and do remember that you have to followp the proper procedures.

It is like any other country in the world that has its labor inmigration regultated.

Try the Dell Call Center. Many Americans work there. It will also help if you are bilingual.

There isn't any good website at this moment (like Monster.com for Panama)
Try searching in "La Prensa" (http://clasificados.prensa.com/)
Most people get their job in Panama by networking.
Panama is a great country to live, never a dull moment....beautiful beaches, mountains, rivers etc...
Good luck

Well you would need authorization from the government allowing you to work. You will find wages to be a fraction of what they are in north america. This web page on panama labor law may be helpful:
