Lady Morgana (((love LB)))

My husband, our 13 year old son and I are planning a trip next spring to Costa Rica. How would you rate it?

I have heard that it is breathtaking. I'm interested in the opinions of people who have been there and either loved it or not...all opinions are appreciated.

How would I rate Costa Rica? - INCREDIBLE!

Costa Rica has to be one of the most beautiful places in the World!

Not only does it have the most beautiful women and the most delicious Beer that has ever been brewed - but it has one of the largest Jade Museums of Pre Columbian Jade in the World together with a fantastic "Gold" Museum downtown San Jose!

Started going there in l995 and have been returning every year after that - and I will be going there again next month with my daughter since she is married with three children and has never been there herself!

Over fifty percent of the folks there speak English as well as Spanish and they have the highest literacy rate in all of North, South, and Central America!

People there are quite friendly and helpful and Americans are still respected there - and treated well!

VIVA LA PURA VIDA!

Your family will have the Time of their lives and will go back often - like I have done over the last twelve years.

10 of 10 . there is something undescribable. i would say the usual nice views and tourist hot spots, but it is just the charm of this small country that will captivate you. dont hink twice about it, im telling you now, it is well worth it !!!

Costa Rica is a beautiful country. Ricardo and his kidnapping theory well he OBVIOUSLY has Costa Rica mixed up with some other country. Granted San Jose can be a bit dangerous , just as any other big chitty in the world,
Lots of tourist spots , beautiful beaches, zip lines, white water rafting, rainforest hiking & horse back riding.
Lots to do & see. And the greatest asset Costa Rica has is it's PEOPLE..

You and your son go to Disney World and let your husband come to Costa Rica by himself.

I've seen photos taken by people who've been there and heard about it ... sounds like an awesome place; if I had the opportunity (time & money) I'd be there!

as always be extremely aware of where you are and who is around you in South America. Kid-napping are on the rise and if you can afford to travel there then your 13 yr old is worth a few thousand from your credit card availability! They will not hesitate to harm him in the least, stay in the main area and never wonder of the main trails. I traveled to Mexico often and i have notice that look more than ounce given in my direction. Its a beautiful place to visit but like any place there are those that see you more than tourist ! Take care and be safe if you decide to go.
