Colombia is found in the continent of south America. The Capital of Colombia is Bogotá. Four other major cities include Medellin, Cali, Cartagena, and Barranquilla.
What the Stripes on the Colombian flag represent .....
Two of the three stripes on the Colombian flag are the same size. The yellow stripe is larger than the red and blue stripe. The yellow strip represents the Colombian land. Colombia is a large country in South America, so they decided to make the yellow stripe larger than the other two stripes.
The blue strip represents the oceans that surround and border Colombia. Colombia is the only country in South America to be bordered by both the Pacific and the Atlantic Oceans. It also has a small border with the Caribbean Ocean as well.
the red stripe represents the blood that was shed by the patriots for the freedom of Colombia.

There you go. If you need any more translations you can just e-mail me. Now, where's my 10 points? |

NOTE.... The Caribbean isnt an Ocean.....it's a sea...Mar Caribe. The write has many errors........... but i translated it as it is written. look at the geography book and look for a map....and you'll see what I'm talking about |

PLEASE NOTE: your english text talks about the Caribbean Ocean, which is wrong. The correct name for it is Caribbean Sea, that's the reason in Spanish I wrote Mar Caribe instead of Océano Caribe.
Hope I was helpful |

Before me, several persons translate your words from english to spanish.
They made a good work, but what you say is not exactly true, Colombia's flag colors have not the meaning you wrote and they translate, better look at the wikipewdia an change your mind.
Don't worry for that, you are not from these places |
