MSDC
Capital: Lima
3 Main cities: Arequipa, Trujillo, Chiclayo (you could mention Cuzco, which has an archaeological significance, but population-wise is not as important).
Official language: According to the constitution it is Spanish and, in areas were they are predominant, also Quechua, Aimara and any other local language (art. 48, Tittle 2 chapter I, 1993 constitution).
Mountain ranges: The Andes is the main mountain range, although it takes different names in different areas. For example, in the area of Anchash, the mountain range splits, forming the black range and the white range. On the White range (Cordillera Blanca) is the highest peak: Huascaran with 6,768 mts above sea level (22,204 feet).
thee are different forms of transportation, although most cargo is done on roads. There are also railroads, including the amazing central railroad with its innumerable high mountain passes. Most main cities have an airport, so aerial transportation is also plentiful. Finally there is water transportation throughout the coastal area and in the amazon jungle region of eastern Peru.
Interesting attraction: Most known is Machu Picchu, but there are many more. The Amazon Jungle, Choquequirao, Kuelap, Chavin de Huantar, Mancora... there are so many.
