YES, Latina/o is a person from latin country and Colombia is a latin country. She can also call her self hispanic if she speaks spanish only. but you can sure be from a latin coutry and not speak spanish, in that case you are only latina, not hispanic. |

Of course, Latino/latina is any person who lives in any country from Mexico and bellow. And Columbia is in southamerica and the mother language is spanish (Remember from Mex and bellow the area is known as LatinAmerica) |

she calls her self latina because they consider the country's from mexico down to argentina latin america. so that's why she calls her self latina because colombia is in latin america. They are considered latin countries because they speak a latin influenced language which is Spanish. Also because there ancestors also come from like spain or italy so that's why they are latin. Is confusing I know. |

And yes, she can call herself latina, because a latina is from anywhere in latin america, and Colombia is part of latin america. |
