Rainforest canopy tour in CR...what should I wear?

We will soon be going to CR and we will do one of these rainforest canopy tours. Since Mosquitoes love me I was wondering if I should wear long pants and a long sleeve T-shirt? Will this not be too hot??? Will tons of bugs fly in the rainforest? Who has done the canopy tour and can tell me what they wore and how their experience was? Thanks for all the answers in advance already!
Additional Details
We will be doing our zip-lining adventure in Guanacaste at 1 PM in early April

Hola, it all depends on where you will be doing the canopy and at what time of the day.

In the morning the bugs are still lingering and I would recommend wearing lightweight pants for sure. I prefer to where pants whenever I am in the rain forest as it is a safety precaution as well. Closed toed shoes are a MUST for any adventuring in the forest.

Mid day may be too hot for pants, and lucky enough, it is usually too hot for the bugs as well. Where your bug spray but, like the above answer said, you will moving so fast on the lines. Some places, like monteverde, may even supply rain gear if it is needed.

At night i recommend socks and pants if the mosquitoes like you. I had 15 bites on one foot when staying in a jungle lodge walking around at night with only sandles on!

Hope you have a blast!

Rain pants and raincoat should do. I'm pretty sure you wouldn't feel warm. I wore my sweater underneath my raincoat. There was no mosquitos when I was there, probably because it was drizzling. The only time you would sweat is at the end when you have to walk from the last station back to the main hut.
Prices are pretty much the same everywhere.

Costa Rican canopy tours are so much fun!!! I went around a week ago to costa rica and did a canopy tour in Monteverde. It was a blast-i got a bit nervous but once doing a few of the rides you get relaxed and just enjoy it.

I get eaten alive by bugs too but, when i was there i didn't get bitten becuase you are moving around so much. When you are at your hotels at night, make sure to use around 90% deet becuase i woke up one morning with my face covered by nasty bug biteS:( The high percentage of deet is bad for you if you use it too much but it really helps.

When on the canopy tour i wore sweat capris and a light jacket. By the end of the tour i was covered in rust from the lines and mud. It is very hard to get out so make sure to wear clothes that are either dark or are clothes that oyu dont care about. It is cool in the forest so make sure to wear some type of sweatshirt. Jeans or sweats are fine.

Have fun! I wish i was back in CR!!
