If you're and adventurer I recommend La Gran Sabana in Venezuela. It's a magical place. The landscape is breathtaking, the waterfalls are unbelievable and you can hike up to Sororopan Tepuy and see plants and animals that few people have had the opportunity to see.

If you are more of the cosmopolitan type, Buenos Aires or Bogotá are both great choices.

If you like the beach, Los Roques Achipielago in Venezuela is the best choice and also San Andrés Island in Colombia is very beautiful.

Good Luck!
