Rustic Pathways is a great organization. I went to Thailand/Southeast asia with them this past summer. I'm going again this summer....I loved it. It was an excellent experience!

I don't know if my answer is valid to your question because I'm costa rican, but Dry season is almost, it ends in May, and then Rainy Season will begin!!! So take advantage of the dry season, and if you come before 19th and 20th you can enjoy those days the Imperial Fest, with Incubus, Duran Duran and some National Singers. Enjoy your trip.
