Jaco is by far the ultimate location for a Costa Rica Bachelor party! Josh who now owns the Jaco Tour and Concierge' desk used to be the GM of the Beatle Bar and is the guy with the best contacts, connections, and access to the best of anything & everything.

In Jaco you can also go fishing, eco tours, and zipling and many other recreations.

Another places are Pancho Villa Bar & Restaurant an The Monkey Bar which has America music both also get very crazy. All the places have private back room, pool table etc, that will hold anywhere from 10-30 people.

Clarita's Hotel or the Copacabana Hotel might be the spot for you to stay. Both are located right on the beach and very reasonable in price (40-$120 per night). Copacabana has penthouses. But you might try to rent a large house is also a good option for privacy if things get a little crazy.

You can keyword any of the places I have mention on Google and get more info

Best of Luck - you will have a great time

I went to costa rica the end of august and San Jose was terrible, by far the worst place on my trip. How long are you going? What are your friends into? For example Tamarindo; awesome for surfing. Manuel Antonio/ Quepos; really great beach/ cool town. Arenal Volcano; up in the mountains but some great hotsprings/ pretty good nightlife. Baldi hotspings the locals call "the disco" as young tourists hook up there ALOT!!! (not me)

Hang overs on hot beaches are horrible. Better to do your major boozing in San Jose. Easier access to the hookers, night clubs and so on. A really good party usually needs access to medical services and in Jaco they are lacking. Its true that San Jose is messy disorganized and dirty. But so is Jaco. GO to Jaco afterward, once the stitches are out, and the wounds closed.

Jaco.........your on the beach.......be careful it can get rough.......

Both places are good for parties but I would vote for San Jose, Jacó has too many hookers and thieves, in San José you will ahve a lot more of a variety of however you want to celebrate the bachelor party.
