San Jose airport to Manuel Antonio?
If my flight arrives in San Jose at 10:50 am will I be able to make the 12:00 noon bus from the coca cola station in San Jose to Manuel Antonio? (allowing for customs and baggage claim) What is the fastest way to get to the coca cola station from the airport? The next direct bus does not leave until 6 pm and I would rather not sit around San Jose all day... Additional Details How long is a cab ride to the coca cola station?
How fast do bags and immigration happen? (ie. are the lines for immigration HUGE and baggage claim slow?) Some airports I've been through are horrible for this (ie. Toronto) but others are much better (usually smaller ones)
i dont think you will make it...standing in line at santamaria airport to go thru customs takes at least an hour, then you have to wait in baggage claim to get all your stuff...you would be lucky to get out of there before 1230...

No you can't. It can take you 30-40 minutes to take a cab from the airport. Even if you have no checked bags it should take you about 20-30 minutes to get through customs (if you check baggage it will take you 40-60 minutes). So if everything went in your favor (planes arrive on time about 75% of the time). That would give you at most 10 minutes to find the ticket office, stand in line and buy your ticket and find the bus.
SANSA is an option as is a taxi from the San Jose airport to Manuel Antonio. It should be somewhere between $100-$150. If there are 2 or more of you, it is the way to go because there are some interesting places to stop along the way (like to view the huge crocodiles on the bridge near Carara.

You will never make it!
The cab only takes about 40 minutes to downtown San Jose but by the time you get your bags and go through customs - forget it!
Why don't you contact Sansa Airways and take a flight to Quepos (five minutes) away from Manuel Antonio? Sansa charges $98.00 round trip and the flight takes approximately 29 minutes!
That is what I am going to do in June when I go to CR!
Good Luck!
