It depends on the condition of your current computer/laptop. If it's fine, definitely go to Costa Rica - everyone I know who has gone said that's a place of unspoiled beauty with lots of great activities to do (especially the canopy tours in the rain forest).
However, if you're laptop or computer is nearly dead/broken - maybe a new one is the higher priority. Don't worry too much about the $1k - you'll be glad you spent it when you're in Costa Rica and the memories will be worth more than that. |

If your current laptop is workable for the time being, go to Costa Rica. It's an incredible experience. If you current laptop is on it's way to computer heaven, best to get a new one. |

Not only visit Costa Rica, you must tried Honduras too. Amazing landscaoe, sunsets, jungle, rivers, raftings, canopy, springwaters, you name it, we got it. |
