It is up to you what do you want to do. Peru: excellent food, many things to learn, visit 3 different regions. Costa Rica: play, shopping, sex, golf. But...don't miss machupicchu. Nice trip! |

You will probably get more jobs at Peru teaching english than in costa Rica. I have being in both countries and Peru is a much more interesting place by far...
People are really friendly and willing to help you out no matter what. And you can travel around while you are not working. You have mountains, modern cities, great beaches, rainforest, culture, history, excellent food no matter where you are, and it is a cheaper country than Costa Rica.
I would choose Peru without any doubts.

well for teaching , peru has a very good education system,but its only found in private schools,the national schools are really bad.i was there recently i if u decide to go teach in peru i think u will also find alot of places to visit (machu pichu, casa de simon bolivar,las catacumbas de San Franscico etc) and it also has a good nightlife in more high class places like miraflores where u can find Lancomar opr go to La Molina to the Jockey plaza, and Barranco which has alot of clubs.
