Costa Rica is FILLED with couples everywhere. Its a very romantic place. The beaches are nice(manuel antonio, jaco) but there are some great inland places to go. Monte Verde is a cute little town up in the cloud forest and it has lots of hotels to goto. Arenal is a volcano with hot springs that you can sit in while you watch the active volcano glow. You can go zip lining, take a nature tour to see animals and stuff, or take surfing lessons for very cheap prices. the people are very nice, the roads are very not nice, but the tour guides are very good and friendly. You will have a fun time. Get a travel book if you want to find out more.

This is a very broad question and impossible to answer without more information about your interests, likes dislikes, etc.. The best thing to do is to get a guide book (Lonely Planet and Moon guide are my favorites) which will answer your questions.

Yes go to Costa Rica. I lived in Costa Rica for 15 years and loved it. The people are really nice and the country is beautiful. The jungles, beaches and water falls are incredible! Go to the Manuel Antonio Beach and to their 3 main volcanoes: Irazu, Poaz and Arenal. It is a very peaceful democratic country with no army. Just be care full with the guys that will pick your pockets or steal your luggage. Other than that have fun and let me know if you liked Costa Rica.

You should definitely come to Costa Rica! If you want to go to the beach, try the beaches in Guanacaste (Tamarindo, Flamingo, etc) I wouldn't recommend the beaches in Puntarenas, since they aren't so pretty. There are some nice beaches in Limon, but it is pretty unsafe in some areas, and the weather's better in Guanacaste. If you want to go into the forest or so, go to Monteverde (it is beautiful there!) You can try the canopy, or several other activities. I also recommend the Arenal volcano. the scenery is amazing, and there are a lot of hot springs and spas around, great for couples. There are all-inclusive hotels in playa Conchal. There is a Barcelo hotel in playa Langosta (the beach there is pretty, not too big, and you have Tamarindo 5 mins away). I wouldn't recommend the Barcelo playa Tambor. There's the Fiesta Premier, and there are many other all-inclusive hotels, it's just a matter of doing a little research.

Costa Rica is a great place to travel. The country is beautiful, the beaches are great, and the people are polite.

There are many tourist areas with all sorts of resorts. You can definitely that meets your qualifications.

It's cheaper to stay in non-tourist areas, but you won't find many resorts and most people will speak Spanish in such areas.

the last trip I took there, which was my 3rd I went to sarapiqui and tortuguero. tortuguero was really great, but got flooded while there and the costa rican federal emercency came in. yeah it was crazy but its a great place. I suggest stay away from puntaranes, limon, and san jose, (san jose is unfortuanatly nessesary but get out asap.) other than that you should have fun!

Definitly go to Arenal Volcano, Manuel Antonio National Park, the rainforest if your into that, San Jose if you are interested more in the culture and history.

SouthernCostaRicaInfo
The southern costa rica is the most intensive area for ecotourism, if you want a know bird species, whale watching, scuba diving, snorkeling, know about monkeys, trees, etc, visit the southern area, you can find activities, hotels, and info here:

I hope it can help you!

Third world countries are lots of fun as long as you stay on the beach. If you wander into the middle of the country where there are shanty towns and ghettos then you might get mugged. Like in the 2006 movie Turistas.
