Panama Canal!! If youre there you should go see it.

It's fun. You get great food, great beaches, everything is practially close to each other. You don't have to drive that far to get anywhere. Women are nice. It's dirt cheap if you compare it to the US, and it looks very much like the US, so you realize that's why there's a lot of expats in Panama.

If you don't like cities you can live close by on the beach corridor, or you can live in the hills close by, and still be close enough to the city in case you need a city fix; or you can move to the smaller towns in Panama.

Apart from the Canal and duty free shops.Since the US$ is legal currency in Panama, there are no hassles with exchange rates.
It
has coasts on two oceans: the Pacific and the Caribbean Sea. These coasts, although different, are suited for all sorts of activities with the different beaches and islands found in them. World famous beautiful beaches and islands will make your visit unforgettable!

Caribbean Sea: On the Caribbean coast, the beaches on the provinces of Colon, San Blas and Bocas del Toro and their neighbouring islands, are small to mid-sized and all of them have coral reefs nearby, they are often near other waterways and most have been formed by coral buildup. These are the best beaches to do some scuba diving in.

Pacific Ocean: On this coast you'll find a series of beaches which are easily accesible from the Panamerican Road. Many water sports including windsurfing, surfing and swimming are practiced here. The most popular of these are: Gorgona, Coronado, San Carlos, El Palmar, Río Mar, Corona, Sea Cliff, Santa Clara, Playa Blanca and Farallón.

If you would like to go into the tropical rainforest, Panama offers national parks declared Biosphere Reserves and World Heritage. Rainforests with the widest variety of flora and fauna in the world (Darién) where we can find over 10,000 plant species and over 1,000 bird species.

Nestled in the montains of central Panama, in the crater of an extinct volcano, lies the picturesque town of El Valle de Anton. The Sunday Handicraft Market is simply Panama's folk culture at its prime, as artisans congregate here to sell their unique pieces of art.

Islas Bocas del Toro. Beautiful :)
Panama has everything Costa Rica does but without all the pricey 'eco-tourism'. The San Blas islands are also supposed to be amazing, if you're sailing to Colombia, which many people also do.

Depends on what you like to do. There are many interesting things in Panama. The canal, the Bridge of America, Shopping malls, old Panama City, many good resturants.
