Thoughts on me going to Barnaquilla Colombia since I am saving up for it?

Come and have fun but dont forget that this is a tourist spot and they know that her if you what to do the expensive thing you can find places that speak English but charge you a ton so i would take advantage of what you concierge says or ask a local the best way to get away. Don't worry about that bad things you have heard about Colombia because in that area there is nothing to worry about because the government knows that is a tourist spot and it is heavily protected area compared to deep in the mountains wear the coco plants are with all the bad people.

Trust me find a little town you will find a girl and beer & R&R with no prob.... oooo the beer should only coast you no more then 1,500 each.

I was born in Bogota and rased in Cali...but my girlfriend is from Barranquilla and she is the most beautiful girl in the world...but...my advice is that if you want to find a beautiful girl, then go to Medellin, Pereira, Cali o Bogota. Yeah, BARRANQUILLA GIRLS are beautiful too, any where you go in Colombia, you will see beautiful girls...when Shaggy went to Colombia, he said that he has never seen soo many beautiful girls together. Well, another advice is just be cool, keep yourself in the north of Bogota, Medellin andBarranquilla. and in the south in Cali. In barranquilla you can go to buenavista, to the metropolitano stadium, to the romantico museum, barranquilla zoo...barranquilla is 2 hours away from Cartagena(one of the most beautiful cities in the world) and Santa Marta..you can search about those cities in Wikipedia and you will see lots of info..good luck and enjoy my beautiful country, you will want to stay..

Go to Cartagena instead of Baranquilla... Baranquilla is a very commercial sea port, it's not exactly the most beautiful place in Colombia. Cartagena on the other hand is very beautiful, it has culture, colonial buildings and a night life.

Don't let people scare you about Colombia. It's been one of the best travel experiences I've had. I've explored Colombia for many years and have visited many places in that beautiful country.

I love it so much, I married a Colombian woman... ;)

If you don't know any locals I'd be VERY careful. Colombia has some dangerous areas and it is best to be with somebody who is familiar with where you are going.

Women from Colombia are beautiful. However, if you want beautiful Colombian women and a beautiful city, go to Cartagena, Bogota or Medellin (Barranquillera's are beautiful and the city is fun during Carnaval).

FYI because of the falling dollar, as of today it is 1960 pesos to the dollar, not 2300.

I was born in barranquilla, and I think im pretty good looking, I imagine there must be many more good looking women in barranquilla. I donâ€™t know how long youâ€™re planning on staying in colombia, but I would recommend visiting cali, medellin and bogota. I donâ€™t think barranquilla is large enough to keep you entertained for however long youâ€™re gonna be there.

And like someone else said, please donâ€™t go there so use and abuse women.

I don't know you, but you really seem to be obsessed about women.

Of course, Colombia, as also other latinoamerican countries, is a place where women are much more beautiful than europeans and white american womens.

But I just give you a good piece of advice,man ...

You must respect women, and colombian women are not as stupid as you except them to be...

If you want to meet one girl, for a real romance, ok you make a good choice.

But if you only think that girls in this country are waiting for you JUST because you are a gringo, then you have a serious pyschological problem.

This is not a store where you are going to choose women as "products".
This is a marvellous country that you must respect, and maybe you'll meet a fine girl ( and I hope it will be a mutual love )

Many European and American men think that travel and holidays mean " abusing poor girls "...And that really makes me sick...
These kind of dirty losers think that in Thailand,Brazil,Colombia, Morocco,etc girls are "desperate", and apparently you seem to be one of these irrespectuous guys.
