Shakira - although I think she is from Medellin Colombia, she is a famous singer, she is one of the thew latin singers who was able to sucessfully cross from spanish to english.
Alvaro Uribe - he is the current Coombian president, he has been very famous for the big advances that his country has made agains drug lords and theguerill under his two terms as president. The most notable thing about his terms as president will be the liberation of Ingrid Betancout a colombian-french former presidential candidate held hostage for 6 years by the guerilla.
Gabriel Garcia marques. he is a lawwyer turned writter, he won a noble pize for 100 aos de Soledad and is one of the most influential and greatest Latin American writters of all time. |

one of the former mayors Antanas Mockus would be a good idea, he became famous by mooning his students in Universidad Nacional and did great things for Bogota.
The most popular tv actor in colombia is rafael novoa he is from bogota too.
and Fonseca is a really popular singer in Latin America, from Bogota too
