Traveling to Costa Rica June. Is this a good time? What is a good all inclusive place to stay?

Me and my family are thinking of traveling to Costa Rica in late June early July. My mom wants an all inclusive resort where she can veg by a clean beach and read all day. She is very much into room sservice. My brother and I want a clean beach to snorkel and hang in the water, a hotel semi close to town so we can go to clubs at night and close to the airport. We also want to do a few things on the island: Nature walking, see some waterfalls, go shopping a little bit.
What is the best semi cheapest but Nice all inclusive hotel to stay at?
Any suggestions on what we should do while we are there?

Hi ,

There is a great site for searching all the latest hotel deals and finding what is best for you. They search amongst loads of different hotel sites and find the best deal for your needs.

Take a look at the link below.

Hope i have helped!

I would go with Tamarindo, its less than an hour from Liberia airport. It has beautiful while sandy beaches and there is great water recreation and jungle recreation there as well.

There is a barcelo resort there. They are an international resort company and their stuff is always top notch! I would check that out.

I think the list of hotels that the other answerer gave you is good. I go to Costa Rica 2-3 times a year but have never stayed in an all inclusive resort so I can't help you there.

If you want to be within an hour and half drive of an international airport, your options are relatively limited. There are really only two international airports in Costa Rica-- San Jose which is far from the coast or Liberia, but Liberia is only close to resorts around Tamarindo and Papagayo so I would limit my searches to this region.

If you want a place with clubs (a fun night life), water falls, sea turtles, nice nature and nice relaxing beach for your Mom to read, I guess Tamarindo beach will be a good place for you and your family to go to and its not too far from the international airport in Liberia Costa Rica.

Here is a company that offers snorkeling in Tamarindo: http://www.tamarindoadventures.net/adventures/snorkelingBoat.php

This link has a list of different all inclusive hotels in Tamarindo: http://www.costaricantrails.com/hotels/tamarindo.html

Check out this map and look up Liberia then look up Tamarindo so you can see where they are and youll see its a lot closer to go to Tamarindo from the Liberia airtport than from the San Jose Airport.
Its worth the ride to get there.

Okay.
i defintely think you should go to costa rica!! its awesome.
but its not an island. i mean it has islands but its not an island itself. maybe u r confusing it with puerto rico. dont wry it happens.
Anyway, there are 2 airports:one in San Jose and one in Liberia. the SJ one is the main one, in the center of the country. It takes a few hours to get to the beaches from here. The one in Liberia is smaller but closer to the pacific, but it may be harder to get a flight here.
Either way, i reccomend the pacific side of the country for the beaches and what you seem to want.
have fun!
feel free to ask more questions any time. :)

First off.........if you want to go cheap........stay home. Your requirements will be expensive. You want 3 at an all inclusive....not including air fair that would start at about 3 thousand. Most hotels are just that......hotels.......you need to start looking a resorts......the only two international airports are Liberia and San Jose both 2 hrs from the beach.....and last but not least.........Costa Rica is not an island.
