well if you are mid june it will be winter in peru, how ever the the jungle still remains hot, if you are going to boat then mosquitos won't be that big of a problem however you must always wear repellent ALWAYS, beacuse you never now.
now the heat is not really that hot, ok it is, but the main problem in humidity, (frizzy hair oh no) |

When I was in Peru I spend 4 unforgettable days in the Madre de Dios region. Cruising along the river, hiking around the rain forest, seeing the place where the parrots would come to lick the necessary minerals for their diets, meeting a shaman, experiencing what real rain feels like...how could you not? Where I was comfortably warm in mid july, somewhere around 80 degrees. I managed to get out with only 3-4 mosquitoe bites but make sure that you start your malaria pills before going into the rainforest! |
