If you are in the United States, you need a visa for PERU only if you are going on business. Tourists in Peru do not need a visa, only a passport. If you from another country, check this chart: http://www.passportsandvisas.com/visas/peru_nonus.asp Here is a good summary of tourist requirements for Peru: http://peru.gotolatin.com/eng/Info/Hbook/visas.asp |

If you are an American citizen or resident you don't need any visa. What you do when you get to Peru is to fill a form where they ask you things like the reason of your trip. You'll pay a fee for stay there. You are able to stay there for more than 3 months if you want, but for every 3 months that you stay you have to pay a certain amount of money. |
